Join us as we follow Humpback whales on their 2,000 mile migration from the Great Barrier Reef to the feeding grounds of Antarctica. They will follow the powerful flow of an undersea highway called the East Australian Current - part of a global network for ocean currents crucial to life at sea ... and on land.
Narrated by Dr. Sylvia Earle.
"If the ocean is the blue heart of the planet, then the currents are like the veins and the arteries that just flow around the world. We are just beginning to understand how complex it is and how the ocean makes possible all of the rest of life on the planet."
Showing on the half hour starting at 10:00AM, last show 4:00PM. $5.00 per person admission, Museum Members are free. Running time is approximately 25 minutes.
